The science and innovation museum located near to the already existing building of ?algiris Arena, maintains the rest of the island as a green highlight at the river confluence. Analogically the building represents a confluence of two contrastive elements - urban and green. It shuts the urban composition into a finished form marking the definitive limit of the built area, an urban cut and creating in between a vivid space dedicated to an outdoor exhibition and performances. Ground level is an open public passage where city, greenery, water and arena combines into an urban mosaic. Upper floor - strictly dedicated to the main function - the museum, enclosed behind a dense hexagonal mosaic grid opens for views of nature with the "eye on the river".

Mosaik promotes sustainability through its façade composed of different types of energy collector grids which is morover a real, 1:1 scale model for the interactive interior renewable energy permanent exhibition. Supported by various standpoints – small scaled labs, explains the mechanism in detail.
