Guillermo Reynés is the managing director and founder of GRAS, a young office with great projection in the field of architecture and urban design. Guillermo Reynés graduated in higher architecture at the University of Navarra and later began his professional career collaborating in several internationally renowned architecture studios such as the Carlos Ferrater studio in Barcelona and the Dutch studio MVRDV in Rotterdam. Another aspect that is noteworthy in the professional development of Guillermo Reynés is his career as a lecturer and author of numerous articles in specialized publications. Guillermo Reynés has also been teaching at the University of CEU Valencia in 2010-11 and as being a collaborator and professor he got invited to numerous occasions at the IAAC, Institute of Advanced Architecture in Barcelona. As director of GRAS he develops his activity mainly in Spain, although with a growing international presence. His work covers different fields of architecture, from the rehabilitation of houses to the construction of multi-family blocks, through hotels, office buildings and urban design. In 2008 GRAS won the international competition for the New Eco-City in Montecorvo in Logroño, Spain. A milestone for GRAS architects that gave an international projection to the office. A project of 56 hectares and 3,000 social housing. One of the objectives of the project is the neutral emission of CO2, through the production of renewable energy.
