GRAS Reynés Arquitectos is the architecture studio responsible for the restoration and renovation of the 16th-century Finca Son Bunyola.

GRAS was in charge of the architectural project and the interior design was done in coordination with the Mallorcan studio Rialto Living.

Son Bunyola, on the northwest coast of Mallorca, Spain, covering 1,300 acres of breathtaking landscape on a UNESCO World Heritage site, which includes three luxury villas, Sa Terra Rotja, Sa Punta de S'Aguila, and Son Balagueret, and Son Bunyola Hotel, is also home to olive groves, citrus trees and vines.

The estate has a cultural past and is of historical importance, producing its own olive oil and wine. The main building of the estate is a square structure with a central patio bordered by arcades and two towers, one of which is a medieval defense tower. Son Bunyola also includes several agricultural constructions (thw oil mil Tafona and Aljibes)

The restoration project has honored the heritage of this historic building dating back to the 1500s with traditional and local materials.

The stunning location gives way to its incredible views, making Son Bunyola a scenic, architectural and historical jewel.

The 16th-century building, or manor house, has been developed into a brand-new, intimate luxury hotel with 26 uniquely designed rooms and suites, each with their own character and soaring views.

The hotel is owned by Virgin Limited Edition, Sir Richard Branson's collection of stunning retreats.

GRAS Reynés Arquitectos implemented all possible strategies for environmental protection, sustainability and energy saving.
