Extension of the existing Balneario de Illetas, a popular beach club close to Palma. The building needed to be extended without losing any car space. A new concrete slab sits on the existing building providing a new car parking on the top and sheltering a new multipurpose room to host events. The new room opens up to a large terrace with an infinity pool and impressive views to the sea. Planting on the edge of the slab avoids direct views to the parking on the roof. Patios break the concrete slab to keep the existing pine trees.
Construction is expected to start in september 2014.
