Álvaro Pérez graduated from the ESARQ (School of Architecture of the International University of Catalonia), as an architect. During his studies he was an intern in different architecture studios, both in Barcelona and in Palma de Mallorca. When he finished his architecture studies in 2007 he moved to the city of Pamplona, where he was collaborating as an architect in the studio of Patxi Mangado for two years. He participated in numerous international and national competitions, developed executing projects, and participated in the publications department.

In 2010, he moved to Palma de Mallorca, to begin his career at GRAS architects. He began as an architect doing several international and national competitions, developing basic and executing projects until 2014 when he was offered to become a partner at Gras architects. From then on he became Project Director, conducting and coordinating different projects in the studio.

At the moment, he combines the coordination of multi-family and single-family housing projects with different site management, such as the construction of 2 buildings of 15 dwellings in La Bonanova, Palma, the construction of a single-family house in Santa Ponsa, and the refurbishment of a building in the old town of Palma with nine high standing houses.
