Giacomo Sorino is an architect with a degree in Building Engineering and Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Bari.
He currently works as an architect in the GRAS–Reynés Architecture Studio in Palma de Mallorca and collaborates with the AEDIFICATIO Research Group of the University of Alicante.
He is a BIM Specialist/BIM Architect due to having attained the A1, A2, A3, B1 BIM level courses given by EBIME, recognised by Building Smart Spain.
During his university career he carried out two study experiences abroad: the fi rst through the Erasmus study programme at the ETSAG University of Granada; the second aimed at the realisation of the master thesis research in BIM methodology and architectural relief in support of traditional architecture in collaboration with the University of Alicante. He took part in the international research work of the AEDIFICATIO Research Group concerning emergency interventions in the Medina of Tetuan and in the thirteenth congress of the CICOP rehabilitation of built heritage.
