09/04/2019

Last Thursday April 4, took place the event "Hotel Design vs. Design Hotels" organized by Grupo Evetson, in where our director Guillermo Reynés had the pleasure of being invited and offer a lecture to all attendees.

Grupo Evetson is a marketing and communication agency specialising in communication campaigns and the organisation of events for professionals in the innovation, tourism and construction sectors. On this occasion, took place another day of hotel debate in the auditorium of the headquarters of COAIB, with guests such as: Miquel Ángel Ramis (Estudi Ramis), Miquel Lacomba (Miquel Lacomba Architects), Carlos Mtz de Tejada (Construye Capital), Toni Vila (The Hotel Factory), Juan Carlos Castillo (Aistec), Antonio Muñoz Asorey (Alucoil), Guillem Muñoz (Hitachi), Miryam Salvador (Schneider Electric), and the director of GRAS Reynes Arquitectos, Guillermo Reynés.

Our director's presentation included Bohemia Hotel on the island of Gran Canaria, built by GRAS in 2014 with the collaboration of Pia Schmid, Gecko Hotel on Formentera, Brick Hotel in the old town of Palma de Mallorca, and the integral renovations done on the Iberostar group hotels: Santa Eulalia Hotel in Ibiza, Sabila Hotel in Tenerife and the swimming pool at Las Letras Hotel in Madrid.

The modernization of hotels will continue at a dramatic pace, no doubt this kind of collaborative initiatives, which put businessmen and architects in contact, help architecture studios like ours to spread our work and create a network of solid contacts with those who work for the construction of related projects and in which the comfort of the client is the main goal.
